




Lenil Francis Yu is a 30 year old illustrator/comic book artist born in 1977 in the Philippines. He started working in the United States for Marvel on Wolverine, X-men and later moved to DC working on Superman: Birthright. He has also done cover illustration for the new Conan books and is currently working on a new Avengers series at Marvel.
I assume his process is largely from pencils to ink ten straight to digital coloring with a wacom tablet.
His work is unique because of his energetic line work and his approach to color which looks like an unexpected blend between watercolor and a pastel palette.
